Traditional Biedemeyer

Traditional biedemeyer is a round shape design consisting of mixed flowers and foliage of different layers.



The flowers and foliage used in this biedemeyer are geberas, carnation, anethum, tea leaves, banksa and cordyline leaves.

Bridal Bouquet

A few of us did a bridal bouquet each. The first 2 picture were done by me. The other pictures are done by my classmates.

The flowers and foliage used are lily, rose, statice, onion leaves and caspia.

Flower arrangement for mother's day

Carnation are symbols of motherly love and is usually presented to mothers during mother's day.

Besides carnation, other flowers (like mom's favourite flowers) can also be added to make up a lovely arrangement gift for mothers during this occasion.

The flowers and foliage used are carmation, cymbidium, heloconia, bubble, sweet william, cordyline leaves and ruscus leaves.

Garland

Very often, we would usually see guest of honour and VIPs who were presented with these garlands.

A garland is make up of flowers (normally orchids) threaded together and is usually hand over the neck like a necklace.

I learnt to make it this lesson as below in the picture. The flowers and foliage used are orchid and song of india.

Baby gift design

This design incorporate floral arrangement into baby gifts. My instructress taught me to make a cute doggie face with carnations.

The flowers and foliage used are carnation, stattice, anturium leaf and sin par leaves (conifer).

Floral Cake arrangement

This is a floral arrangement is arranged together with cakes.

The flowers and foliage used are rose eustoma, geberas, iron leaf, statice, sweet william and cordyline.

Tropical arrangement

Tropical arrangement is contemporary design and made up of vertical and horizontal lines.

The flowers and foliage used are heliconia, carnation, anthurium and steel glass.

Artificial flowers for chinese new year

Chinese new year is coming and my intructress asked me to help her to arrange some artificial flowers.

This is what I had done.

This one form of bridal hand bouquet which foam is used to form the shape of the bouquet.

The flowers and foliage used were brassica, rose, sweet william, tea leaves and ruscus leaves.

Christmas Arrangement

Although Christmas had just past, I had not learnt to do an arrangement for this special holiday festival.

I like the christmas arrangement very much. Its very beautiful and heartwarming especially when its candles is lighted up. It can be placed at homes as a decoration, in receptions and in parties.

Roses, ornarments, tea leaves, baby's breath and cornus seeds were used for this arrangements.

Valentine's Day Arrangement

Valentine's Day is coming soon and its a good time to learn an arrangement for Valentine's Day. Apart from this arrangement, there are other forms of floral gifts that can be given for this occasion.

The flowers and foliage used are onion leaves, ivy leaves, rose, eustoma leaf and hypericum.

Floral Soft Toy Arrangement

I like soft toys, especially teddy bears! I feel very comforting when I see them. They can be incorporated into floral arrangements and make wonderful gifts!

My instructress asked me to design my own using any flowers in the school. I had done 2 designs and the last picture was done by another student.
